How does it work?

Anyone joining Bootcamp will be expected to work just as hard, and take criticism with the same humility as our full time students. They will be asked to do some pre-reading and will be set a soul-searching brief all before their first day
of Bootcamp.

A lesson plan will be sent before each half-day and homework will be set to help prepare for each session. The classes will be collaborative and will allow for great networking opportunities as they're greeted by SCA students, alumni and our award-winning faculty.

Classes are always interactive, two-way experiences, and we believe that learning happens best when we test new theories in a safe environment, with time and space for feedback and reflection. Your colleagues and employees will be getting the real SCA sauce. Undiluted.

Schedule

Session 1

Your introductory session led by Occupational Psychologist and Leadership Trainer, Christian Ferragamo. Our students will learn about the importance of gratitude and mindfulness, and the connection to creativity. Marc ends the day by introducing us to ‘The Creative Formula’.

Session 2

Marc Lewis leads the afternoon masterclass to introduce our students to the art of ‘Mess Finding‘ and ‘Problem Defining‘. At the end of this session, homework will be set as we ask our class to work on their first brief in preparation for session 3.

Session 3

A session led by Creative Strategist, Uri Baruchin. Using the homework from session 2 as groundwork, Uri will delve into the insights and opportunities identified and unpick them to help you turn your work into an inspiring brief, leaving you confident and able to write award-winning creative briefs for clients and your teams.

Session 4

This masterclass will teach you how to gain ‘Superhuman Creative Powers‘. Led by Marc Lewis, you'll learn the importance of ‘Playful Child‘ in creativity and practice lots of creative techniques to grow your creative potential. Iain Lee ends the day with a class on Improvisation to help you get the very best out of casting and writing for TV and radio.

Session 5

A bumper day hosted by Marc Lewis with some surprise guests along the way! You‘ll learn lots of evaluation techniques to help you ‘Sticky Test‘ and ‘Six Hat‘ your work. This is a hands-on session to work on a brief and challenge your own ideas for our final Bootcamp class.

Session 6

Students will bring along their written brief in response to the mess they have found. A fun and collaborative session where students will meet our current cohort and work in teams to build on their ideas and present it back to the room. The day will end with thorough feedback, leaving our students with valuable and actionable lessons to take back to their teams and agencies.
